The Healthcare Complex includes the latest technologies and medical equipment available in the various facilities: first aid/emergency department, primary health care center (dispensary), oral and dental medicine, laboratory department, radiology and sonography department, and the pharmacy. The services of the Child and Mother Welfare Association’s hospital include general surgeries, urology, gynecology and obstetrics, endoscopic operations and dental surgery for children, in addition to hospital treatments and palliative care for children and newborns.
The association launched several campaigns in cooperation with the Ministry of Health to vaccinate children against Measles, German measles and mumps, polio, pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus, meningitis, diverticulitis and pneumonia. In 2019, the number of beneficiaries reached 2,172 children. The primary health care center (dispensary) received 6,092 beneficiaries from all types of medical specialties. The hospital’s first aid/emergency department aims at providing medical services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The hospital is in a state of continuous evolution and works constantly to develop its human resources and its medical and surgical equipment for the interest of the patients. Donations from generous philanthropists and local and international foundations such as the Brave Heart Foundation in the United Arab Emirates support the continuous update and maintenance of the equipment.
