The Child and Mother Welfare Association established the Child Care Assistant Training Center in 1980 with the intent of allowing women to develop their capabilities and to qualify them to work with children in kindergartens and day cares and shelter institutions.

The training program prepares the students comprehensively to be able to understand the characteristics of children from birth and up to three years old, and to know the cultural, social and material factors that affect the course of children’s lives and growth. The duration of the curriculum is nine months and it includes the theoretical program, the practical program. At the end of the year, the graduate is granted two certificates: the first from the Child and Mother Welfare Association, and the second from the National Employment Organization affiliated to the Ministry of Labor, the official sponsor of this program.
